Britney Spears quarantined for two weeks so that she could see her two sons.
The pop star had been to visit family in Louisiana and her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 42, asked her to self-isolate for two weeks before Sean, 14, and Jayden, 13, could visit.
A source told TMZ: ‘Britney returned to LA from a trip to see her family down in Louisiana at the end of April.
‘When she got back, she wanted some quality time with her sons, but Kevin insisted she quarantine for at least 2 weeks before seeing them.’
The site notes that Britney, 38, was more than happy to comply with this request and did as Kevin had asked.
They report that she has seen the boys twice at her home, with each visit lasting a couple of hours.
Kevin has been homeschooling the boys since the middle of March, when schools closed due to the spread of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Britney is holed up at her LA home with boyfriend Sam Asghari.
The couple have been sharing videos on Instagram, including their best dance moves as they hang out by the pool.
And she recently wrote: ‘One of my favourite things to do is to dance ……… I do this all day long !!!!!! PS …. ME with the remote !!!!!’
Earlier this month, Britney topped Rolling Stone’s list of greatest debut singles of all time.
She beat musical acts as hallowed as The Beatles, The Jackson 5, Led Zeppelin and Radiohead to the top honour, for her 1998 hit …Baby One More Time.
And Britney herself acknowledged the distinction when she tweeted her thanks to the publication, calling it ‘an honour’.
‘Number ONE [SCREAMING FACE EMOJI] ??!!?? Thank you @RollingStone … what an honour [KISSING EMOJIS] !!!!!’ wrote the Toxic hitmaker.
