Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced the news together from their hospital bed informing us that they have lost their pregnancy despite the doctors doing everything possible to save their unborn child that would have been baby number 3.

This is what they had to say;

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.

We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.

To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.

Thank you to everyone who has been sending us positive energy, thoughts and prayers. We feel all of your love and truly appreciate you.

We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience. But everyday can’t be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.”

This sad news breaks weeks after Chrissy Teigen revealed to us that she was pregnant with baby number 3. She followed this with daily updates of how her pregnancy journey was going!

It wouldn’t take long before she revealed to the world that she was getting complications with her pregnancy and bleeding.

The star then noted that her doctor had put her on fulltime bed rest to trying and end the bleeding and make the babies house stronger for him to sustain the remaining months of growth.

Chrissy would share her journey everyday of staying in bed even at one point revealing the baby’s gender to the world by accident.

She was happy exited about life and then she would reveal that she had to go to hospital to get transfusions to help the baby further!

It never sounded like a losing battle and her fans enjoyed and moved with her every step of the way as everybody anticipated the coming of the baby.

But that would never be. We want to send our condolences to John’s family. May God be with you in this difficult time and just as we were with you through Jack’s fight we will be with you also in this hard time.
