He may be in the midst of trying to capture his fourth NBA World Championship in the NBA Bubble in Orlando. But LeBron James hasn’t forgotten about his role as a superstar dad.

It seems that weed thing that trended for a couple of days after Bronny showed himself on camera smoking and then released the video online is behind them!

The 35-year-old Los Angeles Lakers forward took to Instagram to share a sweet 16th birthday tribute about his son LeBron James Jr. AKA Bronny on Tuesday.

The four-time MVP shared several snaps of he with his son from birth to recently along with a lengthy caption about how much being a father has meant to him.

LeBron wrote: ‘Happy 16 kid!!!!! 1 of a kind and I’ve loved every second of your existence so far in your young promising life! You’re SPECIAL kid(always know that)! Continue to grow and continue to lead your generation to heights maybe you didn’t even think was possible because you guys are simply that SPECIAL!!’

He went on to show his appreciation to his son for helping him grow as a person.

LeBron wrote: ‘Thank you for allowing me to be your inspiration, leader, listener, mediator, as well as many more things but most importantly simply being YOUR DAD!’

He concluded the touching post by telling he will always be there for him as he wrote:

‘Love you kid until the wheels fall off and when they do, we push the car to our destination side by side! Enjoy your day, your existence, your LIFE!! Live.Laugh.Learn.Love! 🙏🏾❤️🤴🏾👑 bronny #YoungSimba🦁’

LeBron has led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals against his former team, Miami Heat, in the last series that will be in the NBA bubble in Orlando.

Bronny is a standout basketball player who attends high school powerhouse Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California.

Not only is he a competitor on the court but he also is one off of it as he recently signed on as a content creator for esports team FaZe Clan which is one of the biggest in the world.

No doubt LeBron and family will be enjoying his return home as he just purchased an iconic mansion in Beverly Hills.

The 16-time NBA All-Star finalized the deal on a Beverly Hills compound for $36.8 million last Wednesday, according to Variety.

The deal was widely reportedly back in July, though now the deal is closed, and James owns a home that has quite the unique history, previously lived in by Hollywood icon Katharine Hepburn.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are set to take on the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals at 9pm EST/6pm PST on Wednesday night.
