A VIRAL TikTok video shows a supposed UFO flying over New Jersey. The clip shows a black object flying over a busy street as cars are in stop-and-go traffic during sundown.
A TikTok user by the name of @elvin_jku14 shared on his account a clip of a supposed unidentified flying object hovering over New Jersey traffic on Monday.
The video shows cars in stop-and-go traffic while the sun is setting, honking at each other as a saucer-like object with a blue light hovers over the traffic.
The user filming the TikTok can be heard saying: “Everybody stopped to see the aliens. I don’t know if that’s true or not but everyone has blocked the highway.”
Other clips circulating the internet also show different angles of the UFO with many claiming it is not aliens but rather a Goodyear blimp with a neon sign.
The Goodyear blimp usually flies over the sky during sporting events and has more of a round-like appearance.
Twitter users are arguing over the flying object either being a UFO or the blimp, claiming that aliens would not want to visit earth in 2020.
One user said: “These poor aliens are always getting stereotyped as wanting to destroy the f**ing Earth when all they want to do is drive their coincidentally Goodyear blimp shaped UFOs.”
Another added: “we’ve had like five legit stories this year about scientists discovering life on another planet or UFOs really existing and literally no one gives a sht.”
Back in April, the US Pentagon released three short UFO videos that appear to show objects flying at nighttime. The clip shows the objects rapidly moving as an infrared camera is recording.
Two of the videos have service members reacting in awe at how quickly the objects are moving. One voice suggests that it could be a drone.
The Pentagon had studied recordings of aerial encounters with unknown objects as part of a classified program that was launched in 2007 per the request of former Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada.
The program ended in 2012, according to the Pentagon, because they concluded that there were higher priorities that needed funding.
